Version 1.1.0 of Begnas, which we’re calling the “Begnas Theme Blog Edition“, introduces powerful new features designed to streamline your blogging journey. While Begnas displays the latest blog posts on the homepage by default, this update takes your website’s functionality to the next level.

We tried to make this update simple to begin your blogging journey. Using features such as the template, template part, pattern, and sidebars, you can showcase your blog posts easily. Then, you can customize further for a more complicated blog design as you grow.

Feature One: 2 New Blog Templates

We’ve introduced 2 essential page templates to help you quickly publish your Blog:

1. Blog Landing (Right Sidebar)

This template is perfect for creating an engaging blog homepage. It includes:

1. A header with site title/logo, centered primary menu, and social media icons.
2. A call-to-action hero section for improved conversion rates.
3. A clean grid layout showcasing your latest blog articles.
4. A right sidebar featuring an author profile, newsletter signup, Instagram/gallery widget, and categories/tags.
5. A full-width gallery section
6. A dark footer with two rows, including a copyright bar and columns for information, social icons, navigation links, and a small image gallery

2. Page (Right Sidebar)

This versatile template is ideal for any page where you want a sidebar on the right. Your main content appears on the left side, with the sidebar providing additional information or navigation options.

You can add blocks or patterns to showcase blog-related content such as posts, and post categories in the dynamic content area on the left. With this template, you will have more control to design the page from scratch.

Feature Two: 4 New Template Parts

Begnas 1.0.1 introduces to 4 new template parts for header, sidebar and footer areas providing you diverse design and layout options for those areas.
